 " يلتزم برنامج هندسة القوى الميكانيكية بتخريج مهندسين قادرين على إستيعاب التطور المستمر فى التقنيات العلمية والمنافسة على المستويين المحلى والإقليمي، مزودين بأسس العلوم الأساسية والتطبيقية، قادرين على إنتاج حلول مبتكرة لإحتياجات جميع القطاعات بالمجتمع فى مجالات هندسة القوى الميكانيكية، واعين بالقيم الأخلاقية والمهنية ومتطلبات حماية البيئة. بالإضافة إلى تطوير الأبحاث والدراسات العلمية والارتقاء بنوعيتها بما يتفق مع حاجة المجتمع"
