يهدف برنامج هندسة الاتصالات والإلكترونيات إلي :
- تأصيل فهم أساسيات هندسة الدوائر الكهربية والإلكترونية لدى الطلاب ومن ثم اكسابهم القدرة على تحليل وقياس أداء الأنظمة الإلكترونية المختلفة باستخدام المعدات المناسبة وتقييم مدى ملاءمتها لتطبيق معين،
- اكساب الطلاب القدرة على تصميم وتنفيذ وتشغيل أنظمة الاتصالات المختلفة، مثل أنظمة الاتصالات الرقمية والتناظرية واتصالات المحمول وكذلك أنظمة الهوائيات والميكروويف والاتصالات البصريه ،وغيرها من انظمة الاتصالات الحديثه،
- تأهيل الخريجين للعمل في مجال أنظمة الاتصالات والإلكترونيات واستخدام أحدث التقنيات في تلك المجالات والمنافسة في الأسواق المحلية و الاقليمية،
- تأهيل الطلاب لممارسة استراتيجيات التعلم الذاتى وتحليل البيانات واستخلاص النتائج للمضي قدماً لعمل دراسات بحثية متقدمة في مجالات هندسة الاتصالات والإلكترونيات،
- توفيربيئة تعليمية وطرق تدريس تدعم قدرات الطلاب على الابداع والابتكار وريادة الأعمال،
- اكساب الطلاب مهارات التواصل الفعال والعمل الجماعي والتعاون مع التخصصات المختلفة مما يؤهل الخريج لتحمل المسئولية ومراعاة القيم المجتمعية واخلاقيات المهنة.
Program Objectives:
- Establishing students’ understanding of the basics of electrical and electronic circuits engineering, and then giving them the ability to analyze and measure the performance of various electronic systems using appropriate equipment and assess their suitability for a particular application,
- Providing students with the ability to design, implement and operate various communication systems, such as digital and analog communication systems, mobile communications, as well as antenna, microwave and optical communications systems, and other modern communications systems.
- Qualifying graduates to work in the field of communications and electronics systems, using the latest technologies in those fields, and competing in the local and regional markets.
- Qualifying students to practice self-learning strategies, analyze data, and draw conclusions to move forward with advanced research studies in the fields of communications and electronics engineering.
- Providing an educational environment and teaching methods that support students' abilities for creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship.
- Providing students with effective communication skills, teamwork and cooperation with different disciplines, which qualifies the graduate to assume responsibility and consider societal values and professional ethics.
